Ah it does in it’s hole. Western media reporting of gaza is outrageous but its because of history and the israeli lobby. Robert Fisk was big on pointing it out. Its even more noticeable now because of whats going on. My view is that both Gript and The Ditch are playing on the same team because ultimately they link back to the same place, or at least very similar places, and have the same aim - in the same way that George Galloway plays on the same team as Nigel Farage.
If you were Russia, or China, or right wing Americans - who are all allied - you look to develop chaos agents to destabilise individual countries. You look for people with massive egos, boundless arrogance, who are good at gaining attention for themselves in the media, who are extremely aggressive and will use frivolous lawsuits to silence opponents, people who can be bought and compromised easily.
Who are these people in Ireland?
One is a fella from Crumlin who treats women like shit and is in court at the moment.
Another is a fella who loves Italian football and wears pink t-shirts and has a mullet.

SF have got off very lightly over their Russia-friendly stance on a range of issues and their modus operandi especially SLAPP lawsuits. If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck and all that…
I don’t think SF have anything to do with the Ditch or Cosgrave. In fact they’d be stupid to do so because he falls out with everyone in the end.
That being said both Cosgrave and The Ditch guys clearly favour a SF led-government and their posting very much reflects that.

Separate to who’s the ultimate beneficial owner (cc banking KYC checks) of The Ditch, I mentioned their story yesterday about Big Colm Brophy’s wife allegedly getting a pay off from a developer in return for not blocking a housing development. Matt Carthy straight out looking for FG to make a statement on this “shakedown” & being all indignant & disgusted. It got me thinking whether The Ditch are sitting on anything really explosive to throw into the melting pot next week for maximum effect. Or will it be more “FG candidate didn’t record steak in Asador & pints in The 51 on Dáil gift register ahead of attending rubby match as guest of legal firm” type stuff? SF definitely seem to be going for FG & I don’t think it’s a good look for Harris et al to be engaging in ongoing whataboutery about violence & what not. But they can’t really help themselves. As mentioned, the cute FF hopes quietly letting them tear strips off each other for the most part.

My understanding was the corporation tax boom is probably going to get even boomier in the short terms as the rate goes by a fifth before the boomier boom may start to taper off.
I would foresee a major, major crash occurring over the lifetime of the next Irish government, one which will start because of events in America and lead to global contagion.
