Old Matchday Programmes

Kerry full forward line was amazeballs.

Some brutes on the Dublin team too. Johnner Thompson was one of the most frightening men ever to pick up a hurley Liam Egan was a bear of a man.

1985-1991, I think.

Its an awful pity they didn’t continue with that sort of regard to their underage structures.

They did for a while. Some of the Dublin minor teams of the 1990s were hilariously bad.

Oh don’t worry, I remember.

Name the match

Here’s a couple of other ones

Mossy.

Ah unofficial programmes. I have a few from AI finals in the 70s that the auld lad and uncles went to. They were the ones who warned me about lads selling them when I first went to big games by myself in the late 90s. Never came across them though

There was nothing unofficial about those ones!

Was the limerick runai at that time a 4th class teacher and got his class to mass produce them?

Topical at moment but the original league semi final double header is something of a collectors item. It was cancelled on 25 March 1984 due to inclement weather conditions and played the following Sunday, 1 April 1984. The was a limited number of programmes printed for the postponed matches.

I’ll have a look in the box for it later.

What team were these players members of

Waterford

I want a bit more detail.

Is that from the 59 replay Programme?

No, the 1960 Our Games annual
