Olympians/Sports stars You Suspect Are Juiced Up

almost 100% imo
Mickee - itā€™s common knowledge they are all at it. Much like the cycling crowd nobody in Athletics wants to deal with it as he has brought back a bit of glamour.

But they donā€™t ā€œtestā€ in Jamica, at least not properly. So what they are doing now is hanging a few lads. Itā€™s pathetic really. And itā€™s half assed. At least baseball decided to enjoy the ride for a while, cycling went into denial, soccer and boxing just lets everyone carry on (thus being on level playing field) but athletics is just smiling away ag us thru its very white teeth.
Asafa Powell is hardly just one of a few lads Kev, heā€™s their 2nd most high profile guy
I agree with you 100% on boxing , a blind eye has been completely turned on it reagrding drugs and im glad you agree with me here
What are the chances that Bolt is at it too?
They seem high :frowning:

I really really hope not because I am a huge fan. Please let him just be the phenomenal genetic freak that he seems he might be.

Pacquiao and Marquez etc are more than likely juiced but the Irish amateur boxers certainly arenā€™t. Any of our athletes who want to juice up go abroad.

Before we go any further, when it comes to drugs in sport what weight does your opinion carry?

Youā€™d obviously hope not, but probably 99% chance of it.

Ask yourself - do you think the Irish state would be able to run a doping programme?

My opinion is worth its weight in rhino horn.

The Jamaican sprint team are producing frankly unbelievable results now which canā€™t just be explained by athletics being their national sport and a genetic advantage. Their recent record is still ridiculously disproportionate to their population. The geography and culture of the place means it is virtually impossible to catch them by surprise. The new strategy of targeting suspected dopers with repeated testing and biological passports seems to be paying off (esp with the Turks. That yanet one who was done recently cost Derval Oā€™Rourke a world podium place, a european gold and a recent European bronze) To me the drug-taking is more obvious with the Jamaican women. Check out how many of them have braces or massive teeth (growth hormone) during the World Championships.

Like g&b Iā€™d like to believe Bolt is a genetic freak and, unlike Chris Froome for example, has shown off the wall talent from a very young age, but I find it impossible to believe that heā€™s the one clean guy among the Jamaicans.

The six one news described it as another ā€˜blackā€™ day for the sport.

+1
the similarities to a tiny country in Europe who are doing simlar things in boxing is striking
if the Jamaicans could run a decent doping programme surely we could

Nah, the Irish government would probably end up putting Wayne Dundon in charge of any doping programme.

The strong anti rugby stance of the Dundonā€™s certainly has benifited Limerick GAA

Theyā€™re all on heroin.
