You’re three days out. May 17th. It was a Friday, as it this year.

My oul’ fella heard the bombs, he was less than a mile away as the crow flies, he’d gone home to watch the replay of the European Cup final between Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid (5pm kick off). The bombs happened during the first half. It was immediately apparent to him that the noises were bombs.
