Con was a lovely man. Traffic policeman in his day. He used to stand in the middle of the road at Winstons there directing the traffic. Like one of those Italian policemen youād see in the films. A Corkman, he won a couple of county football championships with Mount Sion. Carrie is a lovely girl too, an Ursuline girl.
