I’d agree. Those north African teams are hoors for shithousery. The sub Saharan qualifier are a lot more free spirited.
The fucking ref……possibly a yellow at worst but a RED……He’d a’been in the boot of a car in Aughawillan…
He was a good manager when they had worse players and he could just organise them defensively
Colombia and Chile both knocked out.
They should put Colombia into the Concaf qualifying. World cup is only half dressed without them.
Chris Hughtons Ghana through. Take that @Gary_Birtles_Lovechi
The Nigerians tried to burn the place down after they lost. Riot police, tear gas the works. A real throwback
Peru will play Australia or the UAE in a play off on June 13th or 14th, to be staged in Qatar.
The Australia v UAE play-off is scheduled for June 7th, also in Qatar.
New Zealand play the Solomon Islands in the OFC final at 6pm this evening in Qatar. The winner of that will play off on June 13th/14th, again in Qatar, against the 4th team in North America - which barring a miracle will be Costa Rica - for a place in the finals.
These matches going ahead in Qatar in June seems a bit strange considering it was deemed the World Cup could not go ahead there in summer.
Chris would have been used to that from his holidays in Weston as a kid.
The Socceroos will not be in Qatar. They’re a shambles at the minute and, surprisingly, Graham Arnold will keep his job through to the June playoff defeat.
The man responsible. Not Chris Hughton.
Anyone think Japan could do a bit of damage?
Oh they could ya
Scotland-Ukraine play off at 7.45pm. I expect the Ukrainians to be bawling crying during the anthem and then they’ll wire into the jockos.
Each individual Ukrainian player draped in the nation’s flag.
A stirring atmosphere. It will be hard for the winner of this emotionally fuelled semi-final to face into Wales then at the weekend. Andy Robertson still probably licking his wounds after Saturday.
Scotland going with 2 men up front?Spotted Big Dykes and Che Adams during the anthems.
Yeah they usually play with 3 at the back and wing backs. It might be 3-4-1-2 with McGinn getting forward to support the strikers.
