Paddy Jackson & Stuart Olding -treat women poorly

How many fellas here have woken up beside women and havent a clue what happened? Maybe Jackson is a toe rag but vast majority of fellas have had similar experiences. All drink related.

I think I’d remember if they raped me though

Don’t forget the photos of blood on the sheets which was used as evidence during the trial. They actually had to edit other bloodstains from the photos as they were from a different girl.

Seems like a nice guy alright. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

We don’t like the sentence so he should be treated like he’s guilty…

I hold no Gra with rugby.I like the physicality of it, I detest the arrogance of the nouveau fan base, the elitism but I will call a spade a spade.

Paddy Jackson was found not guilty of rape and should be left to continue his career as he sees fit and not be cancelled because he’s a horny young lad with a loose tounge and questionable morals.

Like an awful amount of young lads are if we are being honest.

Not to be pedantic, but regarding excess alcohol intake, hospitals stopped pumping stomachs about 17/18 years ago. It’s all IV fluids these days.

Have you no issue with what Amy Mullane wrote? I think she should be sued for it. It’s an appalling thing to say.

Who is calling for him to be reinstated?

Informative rating. I did not know that.

a rugby journalist

Ah I see. She’s talking about the English journo with wrote an article about it at the weekend. I thought it was something important

Who’s Amy Mullane and what did she say? I don’t really know what you’re on about here.

Would/should he be in the team all things being equal?

In fairness the IRFU policy is not to play players that are not playing in ireland so he won’t be whether or not you think he should be allowed based in the outcome of the trial. It would be a PR disaster for any irish team to employ him also so don’t see that happen. The IRFU had to buy him out of his contract as they legally could not sack him as they had no legal basis as he wasn’t convicted of a crime. Its more unessessary noise and a stupid article by an English journalist who didn’t know the current going ons in ireland and the IRFU policy

I’m more wondering form wise if he is good enough at the minute, had none of it happened

Couldn’t tell you don’t watch the Premiership but at 31 I say there is better and younger talent in the Irish system. Anyone who follows the rugby tread will know I’m not a fan of giving IRFU national contracts to players over 30 unless there is exceptional circumstances.

Form-wise, he’s playing as well or better than any of the potential Sexton backups. A moot point as he doesn’t play in Ireland so can’t be selected unless he is Sexton. Although logically, he’s playing outside of Ireland because of the court case not because he’s chasing more money.
