Again, what the fuck has that got to do with anything? Do you want to know who’s Catholic on th e team?
Ffs.
Can’t read much into that these days, she could have been protesting outside it
Look, you really do need to calm down, you don’t get to decide what trivial thoughts cross my mind.
It’s an innocent question, are you trying to suggest it’s racist or something?
I actually googled it before I asked here but it’s not easily found out.
It won’t make a blind bit of difference to me but please, chill out
What do the experts think of the lane draw?
Gillick had a tweet the other day explaining how it works now they use lanes 2-9 & not lane 1.
Three semi final winners plus fastest runner up draw for lanes 5-8.
Two remaining second placed semi finalists (one of whom was Adeleke) draw for lanes 4 & 9. I’m thinking lane 4 (Adeleke) is better than 9. There used to be a time when lane 4 would even be viewed as better than lane 8? But maybe that was in the old lane 1-8 days when there was nobody to run off in lane 8.
Two fastest losers then draw for lanes 2 & 3.
David Clifford would be I’d say. Mobbed everywhere he goes. Definitely in our top six most recognisable sportspeople.
How long until she runs?
Race is at 7pm Morton Stadium time.
Definitely. Nobody comes close to him in any sport.
Was the jayo hype just a dublin thing?
Clifford gets mobbed everywhere he goes. From limerick hurling country to portlaoise.
If he turned up at a junior b’ hurling match in kilkenny there’d be young lads with sticks and sliothars all over him.
Can we stop comparing GAA hobbyists with Olympians and International Sportspeople?
Ya I noticed that at these olympics, I always thought lanes 3,4,5 were the optimal ones
Right on. Lads comparing some mucker from Ballygobackwards who plays bogball* to athletes performing on the elite world stage. Paddy is a gas cunt all the same.
(* and who got smoked by a LoI reject in his biggest match.)
Is that you with number 17 in a junior c *bogball match?
A tall, rangy, long-striding runner like Adeleke might be best suited to lane 6, according to my calcs. Wide enough not to be running at too tight an angle to the bend with folk either side so you can judge your position. Better to be in lane 4 than 9 though. I’m hoping it was nerves & losing composure when the dodgy Naser wan got ahead of her the other night & that’s out of the way now. As opposed to sickness or fatigue or generally losing a little bit of form.
I don’t agree with her choice of boyfriend but I respect it’s her decision & it doesn’t make me admire her any less as an excellent athlete & wonderful person.
Who is her boyfriend I don’t think I ever saw it mentioned

They love their weightlifting in Bulgaria.
Karlos Nasser has broken the 400kg barrier to win gold in the 89 kg division.
On an individual level nobody from association football, GAA or rugby would be in our top six or seven most recognisable sportspeople.
Zebo probably the most recognizable rugby player still because he has a social media profile
