US men didn’t win a single one of the 10 track races in Tokyo in 2021. That was the first time that ever happened at an Olympics they competed in. 8 of the 10 track finals done and dusted so far and the US men have won 5 of those 8.
US men did clean sweeps of the 5 sprints, 100, 200, 400, 110h, 400h in 1956, 1964, 1984 and 1988.
In 1964 Bob Schul won the 5,000 and the Native Lakota Indian, Billy Mills won the 10,000. So they actually won 7 out of 10 in Tokyo in 1964.
