That isn’t good enough for the awkward squad

26 tomorrow. Which rules a lot of lads out here on the half your age plus 7 metric. What time are the relay team running at tomorrow? I’m thinking of heading to the Fleadh but would like to catch that too.

A great summer for Spanish football. That Camello fella looks to have it.

8.15pm. the Fleadh is well worth heading to if you can. Sure every pub there will probably have it on anyway. Was there yesterday for a few hours. Great buzz

Some turnaround in that

as it will be until Adeleke either 1) builds up a sufficient lead over Kaczmarek that her late-race strength isn’t a factor or 2) develops the speed endurance needed to match the Pole in the last 50m.
The gold medallist, Marileidy Paulino of Dominican Republic, covered that section in 7.02 seconds. Silver medallist Salwa Eid Naser did it in 6.93. Kaczmarek ran it in 6.92. Adeleke did 7.26. That’s three metres difference in just 50 of them.

Paulino eased down for a finish but the times give a very different perspective to what the naked eye sees

For a moment in the last 60 it looked like Nasser was tying up and Rashidat would kick on. Until she didn’t and Nasser kicked on.
