Heā€™d fit in well here

The klaxon wasnā€™t long sounding

Break out the ortolans and the napkin. We are celebrating tonight

A great niece of the great one?

Yes

They loved self confident priests and bishops and they still love self confident politicians.

Paddy doesnā€™t like an Irishman with an English accent unless heā€™s playing soccer for Eire.

Yup

Great to see two athletes hyped up and deliver

Heā€™s a fabulous athlete, but he comes across as a bit of a spanner with his schtick in his interviews.

Iā€™ll still be roaring him on.

The only acceptable tan.

Wiffen gonna be judged now on how he sings the anthem

I think heā€™s mighty. Great bit of moxy. Seashellish though.

Another big finish by Mollie Oā€™Callaghan of Australia. Sheā€™s the grand niece of property developer Owen Oā€™Callaghan, who Charles J. Haughey allegedly threatened would be thrown in the Liffey unless he shut his mouth. Now we have an inter family re-match in the water in the 100 metres womenā€™s freestyle final.

Iā€™d say completely the opposite. Heā€™s really likeable but of course he could be.

Not sure thatā€™s it.

It is weird that McSharry got way more love for her bronze medal than he did. I hate to resort to conspiracy, but it is strange.

Ffs he is a world record holder and we donā€™t really care? We are the biggest bandwagoners on Earth. So are our media, and they donā€™t give him any REAL love.

Hon the Wiffens

Itā€™s all about reading between the lines.

Andrew is far more unlikeable than wiffen. Wiffen is a great lad. Looks like Eddie the eagle.
As hoppy said after the interview, itā€™s a good job heā€™s good at swimming.

Fair play to the lad. It all hit home there for him
