She’s carved out a very successful career for herself as a Barrister on the South Eastern Circuit. I believe she does a big trade in Waterford.

She’d do well out of small cases with not much at stake. The big gorillas in Dublin would never use her though because a judge could take a set against her.

Another big finish by Mollie O’Callaghan of Australia. She’s the grand niece of property developer Owen O’Callaghan, who Charles J. Haughey allegedly threatened would be thrown in the Liffey unless he shut his mouth. Now we have an inter family re-match in the water in the 100 metres women’s freestyle final.

This is always said but it is not my recollection. And I watched all of it. Tom Humphries and Eamon Dunphy and I presume Paul Kimmage were sceptics but they were not on RTE. My recollection is the RTE coverage was very celebratory in tone.

If somebody can come up with evidence to the contrary I would be very interested.
