You’re a young fellow so socialise in the Latin Quarter. It’s full of students. Start at the top of Rue Mouffetard and work your way down.

First time you get to a subway station buy a carnet a Dix tickets. These works for the bus and the subway. Hop on random buses and just take the city in.

Visit the catacombs and take a trip on the Seine on a boat.

If you’ve any interest in music visit Croco Discs.

Sit in a parc and watch the world go by, the Jardin de Luxembourg and the Botanical gardens are good for this.

Thanks Fagan. Is the Seine on a boat pricey? Last time I went I saw the Mona Lisa. An incredible disappointment.

14 euro

and is heading to the top of the effil tower worth the hassle?

Seriously only if you’ve booked your ticket in advance on the INTERNET and got your time slot. Otherwise it’s a fucking misery. If you can book a night time slot. It’s beautiful up there at night.

There used to be a great curry house behind the James Joyce, I wonder is it still there?

There’s nothing like strolling down the bois de boulogne on Arc Sunday, it is something very special, in the autumnal sunshine

The view is unreal so it is. You can book online and go right to the top. Or you can go half way. Queuing is for mugs.

You’d want your head examined going near any tourist spots with the security situation, you could be killed
