I bought a new car last year because my Golf packed it in and when I did the numbers on fixing it, trading it in or scrapping it, scrapping it made the most financial sense. When you scrap you must buy a new car. I plan on driving it until I master teleportation.

That is an instance when its okay in fairness, you got €4000 for your old Golf in the scrappage.

But lads spending €12000 to upgrade perfectly good 3-4 year old cars is madness. Those lads are getting scarce on the ground though which means less moola in my pocket.

Hadn’t seen that . The only ones I saw were big massive packs that would last about 4-5 years and cost €9k-€10k to replace.

what renault do is you rent the battery off them

they replace every so often and its meant to run smoothly

the rent is 1k a year which dips into the advantage of not paying petrol
