You want a faster slow cooker?
Iâve got a morphy-richards oval slow cooker, and sheâs a beaut. She has 4 speed settings: high, medium, low, and off. Unreal. Unbelievable.
Thatâs my baby as well. Unreal. And forgiving. But I treat her right.
A bit of TLC with your slow cooker goes a long way. KP is probably suffering poor results due to a culmination of throwing away the instruction manual and unethical kitchen practices, e.g. jamming a beer can in his slow cookerâs ass. Awful carry-on, and then he comes on here complaining that itâs âcheap assâ, âfaultyâ and low âimpactâ. Well, quelle surprise @KinvarasPassion!
So cook the beef for a couple of hours the night before then 4 to 5 hours with beef and veg in the slow cooker the next day? This is my preferred option if it is safe.
I got a 5 litre Crockpot one at Christmas and it is excellent. I think morphy Richards do a 6 litrre one which would be handy for doing bigger batches for freezing.
Why do you need to cook the beef first?
4/5 hours putting the beef in raw is plenty
Is it, bud? I thought it was around 8 hours for beef?
What type of cut is it?
Have you adjustable settings on the slow cooker? (High, Medium etc)
What he said. Why the obsession with overcooking the meat? 5 hours with the veg on med is fine. Specially if you get to boost it on high for a while first to get it started.
Havenât bought the meat yet but just normal stewing beef was the plan. Low, medium and high settings.
Ok I was just going by some recipes that I saw. 4 to 5 hours it is so.

Brown the meat in the frying pan, then into the pot on medium for 5 hours. Sorted.
That works for me, kid. Job done.
Mother of fuck jesus Christ will you just put it all in together and turn the fucking thing on for 8 hours. Cunt.
I clearly outlined why I couldnât do this.
Fuck sake.
Good website for easy to do slow cooker recipes lads?
youd have the cunt of a thing slow cooked three times over since you began bleating on about it
tfk.com is great. Loads of good recipes and advice and no cunts giving out if anybody has a slow cooking related query.

I know you have time constraints, but cooking a bit here and a bit there over two days is pure shite-hawkery. Would you not rattle together a fish curry (15 mins tops) or a stir-fry? I really had to restrain myself from giving out to you, but what really stopped me was the over-reaction from some quarters. You deserved better.
