It will be 1.1 when the Nimbys or some crackpot goes for a judicial review. Then they will be arguing about birds, bats, traffic and every other fucking thing to try stop it. It only takes one small fuck up or even something that ABP conditioned in the planning that they’ll argue should have been dealt with prior the planning being granted. A bat survey not carried out as it was out of season but was conditioned could overturn the decision.

This usually only delays the project costing a couple of hundred grand and sets the developer back a year when he deals with all the cranks complaints, does the bat survey or whatever stupid thing then pick and they go back in for planning. Its then granted.

What was meant to speed up the planning process has as much delays. And depending on the size of the development they have to use the fast track procedure.

We need to ring fence certain planning applications away from objections from headbangers. Housing, cycle lanes, state infrastructure requirements and renewable energy resources provided they have already been zoned for that purpose

if mannix flynn loses his case its full steam ahead for bike lanes

Is this vulture fund thing of huge UK companies buying all the houses in new housing estates and renting them out at huge rents thus creating a poverty trap and a transient population as cuntish as it seems or is there some counter argument in favour of them?

Why should people in jobs who can afford houses be allowed a house to live in ahead of a social welfare tenant.

Priority of owners over renters is outrageous

Problem is, it’s got to the stage where people in jobs can’t afford houses and end up stuck in an inflation rent spiral. Too many landlords are total cunts, and, like most anything state sanctioned on Ireland, rent control won’t work as the rats get at it.

I don’t get ya. What’s that got to do with vulture funds?

It’s as cuntish as it seems

Aligning yourself with FF and McWilliams.

It’s almost as disappointing as discovering your links with malahide RFC, almost.

Jasus, and I was laughing at the coffee and bike shop in the movie, The Climb. Bloody hell they do actually exist. Didn’t think they’d be hygienically compatible.

Coffee mixed in with the smell of chain grease and hot rubber. I can’t even get the wife to go to a coffee shop where there’s a few hanging plants.
