Not really going strong for them this year and has has a cameo role in both 'comer games I have seen this year. Class act though a few years back and was the main man for them last year as well.

Quill worked in Tralee all his life, i don’t get the comparision. That would be just transfering like in rugby or soccer.
If your life takes you away then fair enough, but you can’t just be transporting guys from out of Kerry 'cos they ain’t upto it in their own county.

Eh I wasn’t expecting Quill to commute from Limerick or Laois, of course there would be a job involved. I dont see the problem, plenty of players have moved to other counties to play intercounty. Shame not to see a talent like him more to be honest.

Ha, he’s a gas man. Met him through work, think he’s back in Miltown nowadays. He is only on and off M-C team these days, don’t think he was ever expected to make it. Good Sigerson player.
He was a serious minor and U21 player, not much in him but could win his own ball and score. Sigerson was a bonus, never moved from there but did get some bench time with the senior after that Sig run.
Maybe he was now MBB, i remember the name at the time alot, and he’s my age i think, but Cork were beating Kerry most of the time then so we took our eye off them a bit.

He played against Laois in a minor All Ireland final, think he has an U21 All Ireland medal, along with the Munster Club medal won when with UCD.
