Terrific stuff from Sean Dyche and Burnely today winning at Goodison to move up to 6th in the table. Sensational away form - winning at Chelsea and Everton and drawing at Liverpool and at Wembley against Spurs.
@Nembo_Kid very quiet in hailing the wonderful job Sean Dyche is doing.
Man U havenât faced a side from the by now almost perennial Top 6 yet. The 7 games theyâve played so far were against the sides placed 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18 & 20 in the table. The accusation against Lukaku at Everton (borne out by his record) was that he was a flat track bully who scored for fun against the cannon fodder but went missing against the big guns. Weâll know soon enough if thatâs still the case. Man U have Liverpool (a), Spurs (h) and Chelsea (a) in 3 of their next 4 games.
Lukaku is a great man for a tap in against the like of WBA, lets see what he is made of against the big boys, he shat the course against top 4 teams last year
Klopp still thinks heâs in Germania and he can grind teams down with relentless pressing⌠The EPL is the greatest league in the world and itâs alarming he hasnt figured this out yet.
In his last season in Germany, Klopp had this issue also, great pressing and midfield, no finishing up front and no shutting out at the back. He dominated sides possession wise, but the results were dreadful and the league table bore this out.
Jonathan Northcroft had a piece in the Sunday Times yesterday which concluded that the relentless pressing is no longer a feature of Kloppâs Liverpool. I believe he used data to back up his point, but I didnât read the article.
