Sure im under 30. Still get away with young fla haircuts

The battery on the clippers ran out halfway through the haircut. I’ll have to wear a hat all day at bloom.

Off topic but let us know if the cactus man (Michael Harrington) is exhibiting this year. He’s normally in the main hall/tent.

No list of exhibitors on the website. Got no free tickets this year anyway.

Enjoy the day. Hope the weather holds.

Didn’t see any cactus stall bucko. The weather held. It was a beautiful day for a finish. Had a great day.

Got my hair cut on a Saturday morning a couple of weeks ago. Im still not over my regular barber not reopening after covid.

Anyway, I dropped into a place while I was out. Sat down and the lad asked me what I wanted. Then put in his earphones and got to work no messing. I think he must have come straight from a party cos the jaws were going and the music was pumping. I’ve never had a hair cut as quick. He was definitely still buzzing on something. In fairness it was a good job too.

I had a lovely routine going with “Jess” who, aside from being a barber was also a fan of dancing in her bikini and putting it up on tiktok. It was equal parts haircut (skin fade) and flirt, which is exactly what the taken man needs.

However she’s left the shop and I cant really justify driving to the other side of Dublin to get her to do it (plus it would be weird), so instead I now have “Vinnie.” So instead of the usual “did you see my new tiktok video,” today I got “will you have a look at this summons. Is that June or July written in there”

I miss Jess

Forget your Grafton Barbers and your Fat Tonys. James Gallagher is the benchmark.

Throw up a link there for Jess…

@Lazarus

You’re only gorgeous

Only shapers like @ironmoth hang out in the ‘west End’ mate

Did they get the same lads in to do the video for the barbers that do the funeral videos in Dublin?

The best barber in Ireland is a Donnycarney native by the name of Noel McGee who runs a shop in Wexford Town called ‘Cutthroat Barbers’. Noel who lives in Cushinstown charges €20 for a cut (beard trim included €25). Works a lot of the time during the summer behind the scenes at most festivals, has cut Lewis Capaldi’s, The Corona’s, Paolo Nutini’s hair. Will be at EP this weekend coming, after coming off last week of cutting Something Happens, Mundy at Park Live in Min Ryan Park, Wexford town.

Any fellow Wexford posters will possibly remember Noel working out of Snip it’s at one point under Mick O’Brien.

@Besiktas1903 is the GOAT barber.

Is there someplace to go in Galway if you just wanted a haircut and didn’t want to start a lifelong friendship?

No thanks.

The state of that cunt.

A lot of insecurity on display this evening. It’s easy spot the lads with the male pattern baldness and hairy ears that prefer the anonymity of a big chain barbershop.
