Yup and fook. In the dog track in town, 2 pint bottles = 10.
Back home 2 pint bottles + pint of porter = 14.20
Great stuff.
Robbed ya dozy coont…Shure large bottles are 5 each therefore your “value pints” are 4.20…Bullshite…
Puke, being Puke, is posting porter in your European electoral area about 50c. per pint cheaper…

You mis understood me there Boxty. The pints bottles are a bit dearer in the pub at home. I think the pint was 3.90
Good lad Boxty!
Had about eight pints of Arthur’s finest in Mohill last night. 3.80 a piece. Lovely jubbily.
The town’s only AT machine was out of service though which played havoc with the town’s economy.
And finally it begins:
Bulmers cut price of pint by10pc
BULMERS maker C&C is cutting the price of its pint bottle by 10pc to below 5 in a bid to put the fizz back into pub sales.
Letters have just been sent out to wholesalers and are being sent to publicans informing them of the move, trade industry sources confirmed yesterday.
It is understood that a marketing campaign will kick off this weekend to inform consumers of the price drop.
The decision follows on from September when C&C held off on a draught price increase.
The cuts will bring the price of Bulmers pint bottles closer to the draught product and more in line with beer and Guinness charges.
Currently pint bottles of Bulmers average about 5.50 in the east while the countrywide figure is 5.04.
By comparison, pints of Budweiser and Heineken average about 4.50 nationally while a pint of Guinness costs 4.11.
It is understood that Bulmers will still be marketed as a premium product following the cuts.
While it will be up to individual pub owners to pass on the cuts, industry analysts said yesterday pubs will come under pressure to pass on the price reduction especially with an advertising campaign backing up the move.
C&C was not available for comment yesterday.

4.90 is still a rip off considering that a large bottle of Ale or Stout is still around 65 cents cheaper, they should make it 4.50 they’d sell it then and still make good profits.
I know it’s still over priced but at least they are finally starting to drop prices and not just freeze them. Pints of porter should cost 3.20 with 3.50 for beers and 3.80 for pint bottles.
There was a pub in Dalkey that was struggling big time over the last while. I went for a pint with someone on a Thursday and there was us and two other people in the place for the most of the evening.
A few weeks ago they dropped the price of a pint of Guinness to 3.50 and a Heineken to 4.
You can have a guess what that did for business. I look forward to more of the same from other places.
Runty did ya see the new place in Limerick opened alongside where the lobster pot was??? 3 euros everything and dancing on the bar from seven according to the sign. Looks rough as fuck though:pint:
Ya, it’s owned by the same people that had Mojo’s. You are correct in your asumption that it’s rough as fuck. They don’t do draught, only bottles and the clientelle is generally scumbags under 20.
They’re all starting to break ranks at this stage. Great to see.
No draught??? Can see places heading that way to make it cheaper just cans and bottles no hassle then with taps and changing barrels etc
???
Eh, people will just stay at home then, and it will be half the price. You go to the pub for the banter, but also (for me anyway) the draft.

This pub is aimed at the 18>20 scumbag market. Bottles suit them just perfectly.
He was saying in general, he could see places going that way?
I doubt it.
