I stopped taking minutes around the time of the ‘best utilisation of Adam English’ as I couldn’t hear.

The slide show was a nice touch.

Great to pass an hour at work. €4.50 on the Beara Peninsula; I don’t know how they do it

€7:20 for a large bottle of Bulmers 0 in the local across the road there :joy::joy::joy::joy:

I said that to your man, he turned his nose up to it.

A pint of cidona wouldn’t be much cheaper

Just drink diluted orange

I’d happily drink diluted blackcurrant on a night out when I’m not drinking.

In fact it’s the only non alcoholic drink I can stomach over a longer period of time.

I thought you were off it?

I am, Bulmers 0 it was. I would never have drank cider, it was for a fella I was with.

The 0.0 should be cheaper as there is no alcohol tax.

It’s a pox it is. Not a government doing I’d imagine. More the likes of Diageo and Magners cashing in on the sober man?

Apparently its more expensive to produce the non alcoholic versions as they have to make the full version first then extract the alcohol.

Ya that’s my understand of it but I didn’t want to post it because I wasn’t sure it was true.

They burn the alcohol out which is why it’s expensive.

Spot on - did a vineyard tour in Oz recently and they have a whole other factory to try and extract the alcohol as the fermentation is the first thing that happens when you crush the sugar/grape. I can understand why the non alcohol wine cost the same as the normal one .

Can’t understand why anyone would opt for the likes of Heineken Zero. Can’t be for the taste. Not like it’s one of fruity Lidl poncy beers that the likes of @Locke enjoy
