What’s that Mike?
Haven’t you the IPTV already, what else does this do for you?

No this for the wifi. I’m with eir and this is a new thingy that 3 brought out. Thinking of changing to it
It’s running off the phone signal.
I wouldn’t be keen to use it as a primary internet connection tbh.
Grand job so.
If you can get fiber you’re wasting your time with it. If it’s the only option then an external antenna will make it useable and consistent provided you’re not in a valley
Ah yeah that’s grand. It was just a cheaper option, but I’m happy to continue with eir. Havent had any issues with them tbf.
I’d look up Vodafone siro or virgin broadband if you’re in an urban area, similar money but better speeds. Much better for the likes of IPTV ect especially if you have others on YouTube, Netflix ect
What’s the best way to boost the WiFi signal in an upstairs bedroom?
Google WiFi mesh system works great - all the other boosters I used didn’t
Ethernet cable through the ceiling and set up another router
This one
I got the Deco ones as recommended by a couple of posters, they’re the job
I thought you were telling me to Google it
Yeah the Google mesh or the deco above which is a slightly inferior but cheaper version of the same thing. That’s what you need anyway.
So I’d need two of those Google devices? One to plug into my router and the other in the bedroom?
Yeah and maybe a third. The deco has a few ranges but you can get a pack of 3 that’s handy.
VF Siro is tops
Need a bit of help. My lass a Lenovo yoga laptop which over the past 48 hours the charge has dropped from 100 to zero in ten minutes of working. It’s two years old, and prior to this was running fine. Any ideas of what it may be or how to fix it?
Thanks if anyone had any ideas.
There should be a Power Management program. Open than and see if it can be updated and if it tells you anything about battery health etc
