I’ve had limited success with Wifi repeaters, I had one before and it worked fine with some devices but wouldn’t work with others. I eventually stopped using it when it wouldn’t work with a new router from Vodafone.
I put in a mesh thingy and never heard another complaint about the Wifi in the house, they are also very handy if you change broadband provider as all your devices connect to the mesh so all you have to do is swap one connection and everything keeps working.
The Deco one was on offer when I bought it but the Google ones have come down a bit and maybe look a bit better. Some of the units also double up as smart speakers.
At a guess I’d imagine it mightn’t be too bad in a partition wall but would be poor stuck in the middle of a solid concrete wall.

People have also been using the chat bot to just ask it general chat gpt questions, basically using the paid version for free.
