Question for the techies

It never ceases to amaze me what marketing can achieve.
The new range of Surface 3’s are nicely priced albeit with the lower spec Atom processor.

What ye reckon?

Comes down to what you want it for.
I don’t think I’d pay that much for a relatively low powered processor.

You could get a seriously tricked out 14" laptop here for around €800 (or less if you could run the VAT through a company)

The prices on the Beats stuff are a total and utter pisstake. Much like anything Apple bring out.
The fact that Apple bought Beats is a match made in clueless customer heaven.

I bought a PC off these guys in 2012 and I had a lot of teething issues at the start. It was obvious their testing process didn’t involve actually running the machine once windows 8 had been installed. Anyway, I had to return it twice.

Saying that, it cost the bones of 300 euro and I haven’t had a bother with it since.

I’m beginning to think you’re extremely high maintenance when it comes to IT

Ah there’s no comparison between Beats products and Jaybirds.

Got the lollipop upgrade over the weekend for my one+ 1:clap::clap:A totally different beast. @Kinvara’s Passion @Big Mick McCarthy

Same here. A great job. Have you used the screrncast yet

No I haven’t . I must look into it when I get some time during the week.

Unreal. Its a fucking machine. You could wage world war 3 with it

What’s the lollipop upgrade? Have ye cases? I dropped mine earlier from a good height and not a bother on the little fella, all i have is a ‘screen protector’ which i bought for a fiver and stuck to the front.

@Rintintin and @Kinvara’s Passion can ye recommend any decent apps to get the bets out of my One +1

Bet365 are great for in-play bets. Paddy Power probably have the best gaa markets though.

What’s the best route for an ex-pat to watch El Classico tomorrow from Kingspan Breffni Park?

Obviously I won’t be paying for no GAAGO. In addition to this I’ve always had trouble with the Hola extension which may rule out RTE player. Are there any reliable streaming sites i could be directed to?

Any help, whether friendly and informative, or otherwise, greatly appreciated.

Cheers pal. I’ll spend a few hours resolving my differences with Hola, and use those links as backup. With GAAGO as a last resort .

I’m at one with Hola again. I can watch last weeks Tyr/Don match,so that must be a positive (the ability to watch, not the game itself).

There’s no Chromecast icon on RTE Player to CC it to the telly? Why the fuck not?
