Stock response - Run a scan with Malwarebytes ( a custom scan and make sure you tick the box to “Scan For Rootkits” )
Possibly slightly off topic, but I want to put an SD card into my Nokia z3.
Are SD cards all a standard size/fit, or do they vary?
I’d like to buy one on the tinternet, but don’t want the wrong type.
Check the model of the phone (usually behind the battery) then Google is your best bet pal. I searched for Nokia Z3 and came up with zip - is that even a phone?
Apologies. It’s a Sony z3. Will do thanks.
No worries pal. Here you go…

Thanks moth. Did what you said and just bought a 128 gig one.
Hope to fuck it fits.
You should be alright - microSD card up to 128 GB seems to be supported.
Scan took three hours and 4862 “threats” were detected.
Hope you enjoyed all that porn! You’ll need to do the Malwarebytes scan a few times after each batch of removals
Be sure and put some silage tape over the camera smark you never know who might be watching you:eek:
Christ!
Were many in the Malware category?
How do i check that? I’m looking in the scan history here and under ‘Type’ I have - Registry Value, Registry Key, Folder, File.
I’ve started a new scan now that’s 45mins in and 0 threats detected so far. I’m laughing now thanks to your advice.
Wrong thread!
What’s the best ad blocker around at the moment? I have ABP but I hear there are better options. A lot of the streaming sites in particular pick up on ABP and block you if you don’t white list them.
What’s the story with updates being automatically installed on Windows 7?
Usually, at shutdown, you see the little icon with the shield informing you that updates will be installed, which it does (1 of 1, 13 of 13 etc) and then shuts down.
I’ve had the icon on the laptop for about a week now but every time I shut down it fails to install the updates and just gives the “logging off” & “shutting down” messages as normal.
What’s going on here, chaps?
I don’t think Windows 7 is supported anymore? You are entitled to a free upgrade to Windows 10 though.
I pine for windows 7.
@Elvis_Brandenberg_Kr, can you use the laptop? If so, you could install Comodo Geekbuddy and pay them a small fee to remotely fix the laptop.
Is there an easy way to download a crack of Windows 7 and place it on a Desktop with Windows Vista? I don’t have the software DVD so need to get a torrent of it.
Laptop is working fine. Maybe @Julio_Geordio has hit on it and it’s that Windows 7 is not being supported anymore. I’ve had the free upgrade option for over a year - maybe it’s time to bite the bullet!
Here is an informative page on Windows Updates and Supports.

It’s win 8 that can be upgraded to win 10 for free.
