roduct Description
GLOBAL tvLINK Magic Eye The Global tvLINK System allows the viewing of high quality Sky satellite, terrestrial and video pictures at a second location. With the added benefit of control, the tvLINK gives the viewer the sense of having a second Sky digibox. On a typical installation the Sky digibox is located in the living room with a second set being either in the kitchen or a bedroom. This means it is possible for the the main location to be watching one of the terrestrial channels, i.e BBC1, whilst the second location watches the Sky channels, i.e Sky Sports. The tvLINK picks up the remote control signal and sends it, via a coax cable back to the Sky digibox where it is decoded internally. This allows the tvLINK to be discreet and unobtrusive in operation

you could grow a pair of balls and watch it in the lounge?

Unlikely to happen.

I use a dreambox for the hurling. This gadget seems to need a sky box.

Urgent query.

Netflix seem to be cracking down on proxy servers etc. I’ve been using Unblock US but I couldn’t watch any shows that were US Netflix content last night. Kept getting a 139 error.

What can I do chaps? Are we fucked? I’ll be cancelling Netflix if I’m stuck with the Irish one.

Thankfully HBO Go still works for me but I was hoping to start the West Wing this week.

You have sky tinnion? The West Wing is on their boxset thingy

I do but I have the most basic basic package so don’t think I have the box sets. Might be worth upgrading if Netflix is gone though.

What a pack of cunts.

I have it included in my package. There’s not a lot on it. But West Wing is one of them

Every episode of TOWIE is on it as well. Worth the fee alone.

The auld fella asked me look at his laptop for him, its started doing things he hasn’t asked it to do. I think there’s a virus on it. I went to install AVG to run a scan but it said something called Kaspersky won’t allow AVG to be installed. I googled this Kaspersky thing and it doesn’t say on Google searches that its a virus. But it sounds dodgy as fuck. Is this a reputable anti virus program do ye know? I couldn’t find it on his laptop to open and run a scan with it.

Kaspersky is legit - $700M+ revenue in 2014 and 3,000 employees worldwide. Is the laptop old? Sounds like the fallopian tube might need to be replaced.

No I’d say its two years old if that. Do you know if you can run a scan with this kaspersky thing or does it just operate in the background? Fuck knows how it ended up on his machine!

It’s one of the best antivirus applications out there. Go to all programs and find it there, run it. It’s possible that it’s a virus pretending to be Kaspersky but unlikely.

Looks like this.

Should be, unless there’s some major shit going on with the laptop that is preventing you. I’ve recommended it before, but Comodo GeekBuddy or similar is a great package for people that are not tech-savvy and love visiting porn sites. Their technicians remotely log in and fix issues for you. I’d give serious consideration to going that route and using the Comodo Internet Security suite instead of Kaspersky. A busy man like you could be at other things, like baking granola.

Look down in the bottom right corner for the kaspersky icon. Right click on it and there should be a scan option.

Staying in a self-catering complex with free bitbuzz wifi. Phones connected no problem but internet won’t work on Windows 10 laptop. This is a balls as had hoped to use fot Netflix when kids in bed.

Wifi seems to connect, but sign in page which opened subsequently on phone browsers can’t be reached when laptop browser opens automatically

Whats your default browser on the laptop?
If you are using Edge try changing it to something else.

Sound. That worked.

Another little victory for TFK in the battle to convince the cynical wife that time spent on this website is time well spent!

If anyone is still looking to upgrade to Windows 10 but missed the deadline for the free upgrade there is a workaround.

The last week my battery life has been shocking on my one plus one phone. Normally I charge it only at the end of the day so I get a full day out of it even if I’ve used it a lot during the day. Today for example battery was almost dead two hours after I had fully charged it. I charged it in the afternoon and it was at deaths door again two hours later and I barely used. Also its red hot lately. I took a screenshot of the data usage page, anyone know why the clock is using up so much energy?
