Agreed.

The omission of Tommy Dunne & Baker is very strange.

Although Tony was Hoty in 98 he did his best hurling in the 2000s.

Paul Flynn hurled well for Waterford in the 90s didn’t he?

The Dow of his day, though Waterford management weren’t dopey enough to leave him sitting on the bench when there was games to be won,
Flynn was a hurling genius

What year was it he got that free that he put top spin on. A thing of beauty

@Watch_The_Break

Fucksake Michael Coleman was an awful mullocker did he even play in an all Ireland final

He played in three and won one.

He’s the only player I can recall winning an All-Star unopposed, in 1990.

Still not enough to be getting into a team of the 90s though.

He has as many AI medals as any living Limerickman.

Don’t recall him doing much of note in the 90s other than the 92 u21 final. He was more of a 2000s man.

Won in ‘88.

I think he scored one of those topspin goals from a free in 1999 v Cork.

1 from the 80s but this is a discussion on him being a Galway token on the team of the 90s

I think the journalists who chose this team were conscious not to upset joe canning

Scored a goal from a free alright but it was a low ground shot.

He also has the same number of runners up medals from the 1990s as the two token Limerick men.
