Eggplant is one of the most divisive foods and an acquired taste. The Asian varieties 
are far superior and don’t need salting before cooking like the big globe ones. Salting takes away the bitter taste and shrinks them so they don’t end up mushy. Sear in oil first before adding to any dish like curry. Essential in a good Thai curry, Greek lasagna, and in particular ratatouille. I had some freshly harvested from my garden last night with lamb, a wonderful accompaniment.
An everything I could find job. Three veggie burgers, two pittas, two eggs, a bag of olives, a pot of houmous, rebel chilli relish and some leaves and tomatoes and avocado. Just realised I ate 6 eggs today.

Lidl, the eridanous range of stuff they have coriander pittas lovely stuff. Handy to keep them in the freezer.

Yes, or prime rib as it’s referred to here. I had nothing to do with the procurement or cooking, family outing for better half’s bday. The bone marrow was unreal. You would do well to find a butcher in my neck of the woods.
