Sometimes you just can’t beat an old fashioned pot roast. Big slab of beef rubbed with paprika, garlic, salt and pepper and herbs. Sear and put on a bed of onions, carrots and celery. Beef stock, red wine and tomato purée, several rashers draped over.
Slow cooker for 6 hours.
