Going through a phase of boiled eggs at the moment. Lovely with toast with the butter melted it into it. On a diet now. So had 4 pf them today. Two for lunch and two for tea. And a kitkat. And a bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes. And a banana.
Yes.
Well, only for the Wop chippers. Irish Association of Traditional Italian Chippers, or something, they call themselves.
The fish and chips in Ireland are only a joke, I never knew what a decent fish and chips was until I came to blighty, isn’t that Burdocks supposed to be the best in Dublin? if you got that in England I’d throw it back over the counter at them
I met a pal in the Fumbally Café today. Harbo had said good things about it, so I travelled in expectation. http://lovindublin.com/reviews/cafe/dublins-most-hipster-friendly-eatery-the-fumbally/
I had the pulled porchetta roll/bap thing. It wasn’t particularly nice at all and something in the sauce was repeating on me all afternoon. Overly salty also.
Disappointing.
Had new potatoes, broccoli and a beautiful pork chop from Tony Higgins wonderful butchers at Sutton Cross.
Would 1 pork chop do you, Fagan? I’d rarely eat them but I’d eat 2 of the cunts when I do.
It was an enormous cut, Horsebox. Not one of those bits of shite the supermarkets sell.
That makes sense-the rare time I’d eat them would be those medallions from Dunnes or wherever when in Mammy’s house-1 of those wouldn’t go too far.

who wrote that fucking shite loveindublin? what sort of a mug is he? I’d love to see the fucker ate a fish supper out of marlows, he’d be shitting for a week
I had a very lovely pulled pork in a blaa in a cafe/restaurant in Clontarf recently. That was my only other pulled pork experience. Today was a disaster though.
there’s no bite in it, i fucking hate that
Had a lovely steak pie just now that I got from the polish butchers on William St. Get on it.
What exactly is pulled pork, pal?
Vanilla ice cream and wafers. Love that shit.
I was starved following the football match the dinner was early and I don’t care for my dinner before 6pm so I’m after 3 sausages two rashers 3 scrambled eggs and a quarter of a loaf of homemade brown bread with a pint of milk the tea would only keep me awake
Weak enough return to the forum from the legendary grubber @turfcutter.
Given his previous reports of gigantic feeds, morning, noon and night this is a poor comeback in culinary terms.
The prospect of banishment from his more accustomed e-habitat also looms large.
But who couldn’t love turfcutter…
Stuffed after an Indonesian a few hours ago…

I have a feeling I know what’s coming.
3 pork chops, a massive plate of pasta and tomato ketchup, and a head of broccoli for the tea there, sets me up nicely for a session this evening
