I’ve an artist friend that could sell that picture to a gallery for you for a pretty tidy sum, pal. The yanks would lap it up, the concept of fresh food would be so alien to them that the upwardly mobile yanks would be climbing over each other to have a picture like that hanging up on their wall to sicken their friends and neighbors.

I think the longer you leave it in the fridge, the better it gets, I made that big pot on Monday, jesus the way the flavors have combined is unreal

I never buy milk in those plastic cartons. I find it goes off a lot quicker than milk in the cardboard ones.
I love that about stew. It’s like chilli or bolognaise-always nicer the next day as the flavours have had more time to combine and flourish. I think I’ll do beef stew again this weekend.

Does this hold true for frozen portions? I took a portion of chilli out of the freezer this morning which I am looking forward to consuming later on.
I never freeze food I’ve cooked, pal. I’m sure it’s fine but I just don’t like the thoughts of reheating defrosted food.
To be fair, they are trying to cut back on portions in the US, particularly in school canteens where labane works.
