Just had an outrageously good sandwich, yesterday’s brisket leftovers heated under the grill in a mixture of sliced jalepenos and elbow lane smokehouse sauce, melted hegartys cheddar and colmans burger sauce on … Wait for it… riot rye sourdough.
Took a bit of time but worth the wait.

In 40 minutes today I turned out two savage pots of soup.

The first was a really thick parsnip, apple and lentil soup, then a vegetable soup which was basically any of veg in the rack that needed to be used up.
