Absolute hoor for the women too. He used to go to Boston a fair bit the lads we played gaelic with for the summer in the late 90s out there said he used ride all round him. Played for the dubs, won an all ireland, played for man Utd, played in euro 88 and Italia 90 and also got a degree. I mean wtf.

He could never tackle correctly. It’s a skill you either have or not. Soccer players have a low centre of gravity. Moran had a high centre of gravity. That’s what Gaelic footballers have. A “natural” centre half would have executed that tackle on Reid correctly. Instead, Moran nearly cuts him in half. He was derided by his fellow Pro’s in England and was certainly not regarded as a good defender. You’d see better up in the Phoenix Park.
