Retiring GAA Stars tribute thread - May cause brain/neck damage

Yeah. Id agree with that.

I agree, Higgins the pick of them for me, made time for hurling with Mayo too which probably wasnt an easy thing to do as football managers wouldnt have keen on him doing it

I can see Parsons being a regular on the sunday game in 2021

Is that not why Tommy (no) goals is in there?

Gareth Bradshaw

Not that surprising given his age. Very fine player in his day.

O’Se got an early black card against Tyrone in the 2015 semi final.

A wanker.

He speaks highly of yourself as well I’m sure.

+1 as cynical a footballer as I’ve seen.

Answer me this, did he leave the Galway panel to go to America one year?

Indeed he did Blue. Something that still rankles with me. 2013 when mayo humiliated us in the Connacht championship game in our own back yard. Think he was captain that day and got sent off. Fucked off to the States before the qualifiers. Rumours were rife that the ticket had been booked before the Mayo game…

Oh don’t worry, I remember. He was indeed captain. Got sent off. And fucked off.

I’d not have let him near a county jersey again.

Precisely. Indeed the sending off may have been a means to an end…

I tried, I really did, you have to believe me

Kyle Coney calls it a day.

Never really worked out for him in a Tyrone jersey.

Unbelievable underage talent though.

Ah here, don’t tell me he’s issued a statement
