Retiring GAA Stars tribute thread - May cause brain/neck damage

No.

A lot of respect for a minor star who never scaled the heights at senior level and retired with a few provincial honours

Why do all these nobodies issue statements? Mad stuff.

Tom Parsons always struck me as a gent. As many of that Mayo side are. Good bless him.

I love the way he talks about the 2017 final.

I doubt we’ll ever see anything like it ever again.

That’s a lovely piece. He seems to be a man who is comfortable in his own skin.

Parsons seems like a really good guy unlike O’Shea or O’Connor.

A nobody ffs, logging him in this thread.

Parsons? Parsons is a warrior, a man many of us wish we were. Seems a gent to boot.

Come on lads, don’t be making this personal.

God no, the Tyrone nobody

Minor Gods are not nobodies

My brother in law found Tom Parson’s phone once while both were in college in Sligo, He called a number in it to tell him he had it. They met in a pub and the phone was handed over. Tom bought him a pint and would have bought them for the night if my brother in law had agreed. An absolute gent apparently,

Surely the fat lad in goals for Donegal getting a gong in 2014 was the worst ever All-Star? The fucker cost them the All-Ireland all on his own. I remember lads being stunned when he got the nod.

Durcan was a good keeper though. It was a shocking error granted.

Coman Goggins and Evan Kelly dispute this, as might Steven Bray

said it on another thread, expect to see him on the sunday game quite a bit in 2021
