Retiring GAA Stars tribute thread - May cause brain/neck damage

Gary Brennan Clare

Edit: spotted above

Isn’t he married to Ciarán’s daughter?

The likes of him and Galvin from Limerick, and I would say Seamus Quinn from my time following Leitrim, great footballers who turn up with big performances in the big games. It’s what’s great about the GAA.

I can’t believe players are allowing that shit to be put into the public domain.

Thanking Currid & McManus ffs, a brief nod to his fucking club.

Maybe they gave him a dig out?

Embarrassing shit.

In fairness to Condon he lived out that dream many of us had at the gable end of the house. Breaking out, ball in hand as the final whistle blows in the all Ireland to secure a one point win. Must’ve been an incredible feeling.

And giving the Galway man a right, good skelp while he was at it!

Like him or not but you’d have to add Eamon O’Hara to that list.

Yes. 2007 Connacht final goal. Nuff said.

Some cork footballer called Tomas Clancy retired acc to the gpa.

I genuinely have never heard of him.

He used to go out with a girl I worked with. He can’t be too old - mid to late 20s.

There are two Tom Clancys who played with Cork in recent years. One from Fermoy and the other from Clonakilty. Both defenders also.

Do you reckon his retirement is a clear and present danger to Corks chances of success?
