Retiring GAA Stars tribute thread - May cause brain/neck damage

Thank you David Moran

Came on as a sub for Tommy Walsh in the final.

I’m surprised he only got two all stars.

Just unfortunate to play midfield in the same era as MDMA and Aidan O Sè

The image of him chasing after Eoin Murchan in the 2019 replay was reminiscent of a Tom & Jerry cartoon.

Hard to think of a better all round midfielder over the past 30 years.

I suppose you could, if you’re going there, you’d have to give a shout to Clancy, Garvan and Quigley too.

He was as slow as a wet week in Fenit.

He cost them one in 2019 hoofing the ball away like a rubby player.

Same happened below in Cork during the infamous smash and grab during Covid

I’d say you’d be amighty man to put out an eel-line. :fishing_pole_and_fish:

The Dublin supporters are more tetchy about their team than some of the Limerick supporters on here.

Was Moran better than his dad? Did any of these Kerry lads eclipse their fathers when both won all Irelands. Didn’t Tommy Walshs auld fella play too? Silver seanie if I recall as well.

Neither of them were fit to lace their fathers boots.

Would you remember that Kerry 4 in a row team well? Was brogans father on that team?

Yes. Like it was yesterday. Brogans father was on the Dublin team.

I thought he was from Kerry

I dunno, Ogie was a fine player but you’d hardly say he was vastly superior to his young fella

There you are now.

I’ve commented on this before. Fierce chip on the shoulder, for obvious reasons.
