I mean it, that’s completely dense ? Paul galvin all time great ?
One of the best and most important players for about a decade on the best football team of the modern era, 4 All Ireland’s, 3 all stars, one footballer of the year. Yeah I’d say he’s up there.
Ah lads stop, the is so preposterous it doesn’t even bear discussion. Galvin won’t even be remembered as a Kerry great not to mind an all time great. Gooch, oshea x3, all way ahead on the team he played on .
You are too stupid to see I did NOT crown him an all. Proof you are following my posts with disregard of what I am actually saying.
Fool

You claimed he was in the mix, which he never was unless your taking about modelling men’s underwear. A good honest link player, as somebody said above a poor mans dooher.in a discussion for all time greatness ? Run along
Too late. I’d already made that call.
Super player though and far more than a link man. But I would not expect you to see or understand that.

Clearly you think he was , and more will too. People find it harder and harder to distinguish between what happens on the pitch and what they read in the sindo.
From the guy who’s using a quote from Rudi to support his argument!
You couldn’t make it up. I never read the info in my life, and are they not all anti-Galvin now since he called out one of their journo’s?
I think he’s a deluded simpleton, but if I was putting together a team of the last 20 years I’d have him as one of the first names on the teamsheet. Every team needs someone with something different, with balls.
And to quote Kim Jung Il in Team America: “I like balls.”.
Interesting fact: DJ Carey played senior football for Kilkenny one day in Horeswood, first round of the O’Byrne Cup*.
- I think it was Horeswood.

How is that interesting?

Eddie Brennan even went as far as to play football for Kilkenny. I don’t recall Galvin ever knocking on John Meylers door at any stage?
name a few of these Kilkenny men then. A Kerry senior hurling championship isn’t that easily won either. I suggest harder than a Kilkenny football title. Galvin has 3 senior hurling championships including a few man of the match awards in finals. To win an all Ireland football medal and throw in a senior county title in both codes in the same season is a magnificent achievement and is worthy of mention. very few have done it. Johnny Culloty of Kerry did it in 1969
As for Galvin’s inter county hurling career. Well he has an all Ireland minor b, an all Ireland under 21 b medal and played senior hurling for Kerry around 2000. Are you sure Fast eddie kicked ball for Kilkenny? others here seemed to think that you have mixed up your eddie brennan’s
He broke his thumb and there was huge uproar in Kilkenny over it after it happened playing football.
not an all time great but magnificient player for Kerry.
4 all Irelands is a fair haul. some clare hurlers were talked up as all time greats having won 2 all Irelands. loose all time great talk is common.
Galvin great player but any better than Ger Power who has 8 all Irelands across 3 positions - wing back, wing forward, corner forward? 6 all stars across these 3 positions.
Galvin ruined a chance to be an all time great. I’d say his stupidity cost him and Kerry one All Ireland at least. He was a fantastic player. Brilliant vision, great work rate, tough, intelligent in use of ball and positioning and two footed.
But @farmerinthecity - he didn’t have much to say. I think he was regurgitating what he thought cool people were saying around the world. He was not unique. Maybe unusual in a GAA sense.
what year did he turn a game v Cork in PUC Kev? Kerry were pretty fucked till he came off the bench mid way through the 1st half?
jez he used really draw the cork supporters ire! It got to a stage where if the ball came near him, cork supporters used to launch into a chorus of boo’s and all sorts of foul language! He really got under yere skin Kev

a fuckin all ireland is easily won you headcase, only the dregs of Ireland play these silly games, any norm that played it would rise to the top quick smart
Numerically?
What’s great? Who’s great? What a bull shit notion.
The state of the new fatty in the Irish front row.
