@dav1 very quiet.
id say he is in RNLI Airside watching reruns of Gone with the Wind, thinking of a time when the slave trade was in vogue and the rnli were respected

Rte 2 running show on RNLI at the minute

@Funtime

@Dav1

Some explaining?

@Dav1 can you please explain to the forum why the RNLI insist on using Imperial Measurement in all their press briefings?
They refuse to talk about metres or kilometres but insist on talking about how many yards the yacht owner was from the rnli taxi or how many miles out to sea.
Is this instruction coming from the british HQ @Dav1 and do you yourself only use the Imperial Units of the british imperial system?

That’s some going alright - I’d say most of the rescue services thought deep down they were on a recovery mission

So the RNLI are claiming this as a victory even though they were found by local fishermen out doing some fishing? Am I reading that right?

Found 2 miles south of the Aran Islands.

That is a long long way from Furbo beach where they started from.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding in the sea seems like a precarious enough activity.

That’s some drift…heartwarming news these type of events almost 100% end in one way
