The most up and down nation in international football, they were getting beat home and away by the Faroes and the North last campaign!
The Greeks are one of my favourite national sides.
Ranieri was a complete disaster as manager- their campaign was pretty much over before it began and his replacement couldn’t do anything to turn their fortunes around either.
Dogged fuckers.
The Belgians are of dubious character. The Greeks have character in abundance.
I love a team who can grind it out.
National sides with multi-ethnic backgrounds seem to be of dubious character.
Greece are the Cliff Thorburn of international football.
Red card for the Greeks.
Brilliant goal by Lukaku to equalise after 88 minutes.
Greece finished with nine men, but got a point away to Belgium.
Greece victimised by the authorities in Brussels, as ever, but the nine men hang on for a defiant point.
International soccer is boring till finals .
The South American stuff is good but obviously on at bad times for us

Robben Dost Promes
Jaysus they have really fallen, i wouldn’t know many of them. I thought the Dutch had fabled underage academies?
Imagine how bad they’ll be when Robben goes
How many Catholic players would Northern Ireland have in their playing squad & management team?
They’ve a fair sprinkling starting with Michael O’Neill himself. Is their game on TV tonight?
I’ve just switched on the Scotland game as they’ve selected a load of Celtic players.
Sky Sports 2, mate.
North lead already.
Just had a quick look at their latest squad and recent call ups on Wikipedia and I think the following players are papes:
Roy Carroll, Michael McGovern, Conor McLaughlin, Ryan McLaughlin, Niall McGinn, Liam Boyce, Chris Baird, Daniel Lafferty, Shane Ferguson, Michael Duffy.
I could be wrong on one or two of those and I may have omitted some others too.
Hon Ireland.
