RTE Correspondents

A Leitrim lady.

Not up to much by the looks of things.

My auld fella is convinced David Davin Power wears a wig but i never saw it myself. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Yes your father would be 100% correct about that.Iam his 2nd cousin.

Joe Little former SFWP member. Now RTE religious affairs correspondent.

Go figure. And while you’re at it try figure out why we need a religious affairs corespondent at all

What has you being Dunph’s father’s second cousin got to do with David Davin-Power?

[quote=“Fagan O, post: 504015”]

Probably because of the amount of affairs the clergy were having

Met Jennie O’Sullivan a few times. She’s an alright sort. Paschal Sheedy is some fucking eijit.

Michael Ryan the nationwide fella lives just outside New Ross,id see him around New Ross a couple of times every Week, hes currently involved in a legal dispute through the courts with his neighbour(i know the people, they are very much alright sorts) which is turning more sour by the moment, buy a big house and think you can walk on all around you,we all know the type.

Having socialised with Evanne Ni Chuillian a few times I can confirm her as an alright sort.

Good tipp woman

She is from Tipp alright but prefers to be known from Kilkenny

Misnomer.

What’s the story here?
She has a fine hole on her, I’ll give her that…

born into a tipp family(mullinahone i think) and adopted by a kilkenny one

I see that this wan is big into Shamrock Rovers and was abroad supporting them during the week.

Have we lost some of the correspondents listed on page 1 of this thread from a couple of years back with the general cuts in RTE? Is Brian Dowling with the funny lisp still a political correspondent? Haven’t noticed him in a while.

Aoife Kavanagh has had her high profile mishap since then too.

I saw Vivienne Traynor chasing seanie fitz the other day as he got into his taxi after being bailed, I hadn’t seen or noticed her for some time.

She gave a kidney or something to her nephew a few years back.

I can’t think of her without imagining her in tight jeans and a pair of fuck me boots, she is incredibly sexy and easily the pick of rte women.

Somebody referenced it in the Olympics thread but I thought it was gas the amount of people RTE had over in London for the 2 weeks, especially considering they’ve just announced a substantial deficit and stated that they’re strongly committed to eradicating it as soon as possible.

Fair enough, you need a few commentators on site but they’d all manner of people over there. Des Cahill was over there to read the sport news every morning on Radio 1 and there was also the likes of Joe Stack and Clare McNamara over there for the entire period. Marty Morrissey was over there to commentate on the boxing for the radio also. John Kenny and yer man Paul with the funny hair that reads the sport news sometimes were over there too - they offended Melanie Nocher.

Obviously there were some commentators operating from Dublin, which is fine - you need to have someone describing the events being shown. But I thought it was amusing that they had specialist pundits in for all the events. You had randomers in to provide background on the modern pentathlon and badminton and all sorts. That’s probably €500 a pop minimum for each appearance. Surely the presenter can give a bit of background to these events before going to the action instead of having some token chat with a freak who’s into shooting or something.

They must have racked up some bill.

Well it is only the biggest sporting event in the world.

+1. RTE has squandered a fair bit of money on things with little benefit to the licence payer but The Olympics is something they rightly splash the cash for. I enjoyed guest pundits also.
