I predict she will be shit, she doesn’t have a strong enough personality to impose herself and get stories. Downes will be missed, I can see him going back onto the international news scene. We’ve been on a downward slide though since the glory years of Carol Coleman and to a lesser extent, Mark Little. Jesus, Carol was a smashing correspondent, a correspondent you could feel genuine national pride in. Would you agree @Bandage that Tony Connelly is the premier correspondent in the RTÉ stable right now?
