Is the Green & White bunting up in the balbec?

Nice splattering of colour around alright. They’ve put up a sign between Beechinor’s and the secondary school from the local businesses wishing the team well and Dessie O’Brien looks as if he’s after having a wash, so good news all round.

If Dessie is on form, we are on form.

I’m not mad gone on it eithe MBB but what’ll you do?

Sign up in the window of Houlihans pub for a bus to Thurles for the semi final. Only €8 quid. :pint::clap:

Sign the Boro keeper.

There will be some crew on that bus. A few legends on the Spur’s bus as well.

I thought it was mildly amusing how Darren Frehill repeatedly referred to Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium as “the Emirates Stadium” today. Reporter Peter Smith always refrained from correcting him, perhaps for the fun of it to see how long Frehill would continue with his erroneous reference. Perhaps Frehill was hoping for free flights from Emirates given that they were sponsoring a competition on the programme.

He called the new GAA president “Uactharán na hÉirinn” today

He is a complete joke.

Joanne Cantwell is the most annoying cunt on the radio.

She is mate but when the alternative is the Newstalk idiots…

Have RTÉ pulled off the impossible and made the worst sports programme in the history of radio even worse? John Murray is the new anchor it seems.

Not just radio, mate. She is horrific on tv too. Pure tokenism as to how she gets the gig - I’m sure there are knowledgeable women who know sport out there but Cantwell ain’t one.

I had to listen to the first half of the football on RTE Radio One yesteday. Cantwell was on with O’Hara and McConville before it started. Discussion started about the Connolly saga and to be fair to O’Hara he was getting stuck in and was outspoken, calling it embarrassing and shameful. McConville was just about it get stuck in when Cantwell interrupts to bring us the vital info that the loudest cheer of the day had just happened after Connolly’s name was announced over the tannoy. And that the name of Lee Keegan had received jeers. Conversation quickly moved on and issue parked. Des Cahill would have been proud.

The only saving grace was listening to a distraught Michael Corcoran having to commentate on the closing stages of the IRFU teams defeat from Twickers.

Anna Geary was on the Marty squad tonight and to be fair she knows what she is talking about. Should give her more of a gig.

She has muscled her foot inside the RTE door in impressive fashion in recent months.

Full of cliches, brown nosing and bland happy clappy analysis. She’ll fit in well in Montrose therefore.

Class from RTE as their line to the dramatic Cavan-Derry qualifier at Breffni Park fails with with the teams level with three minutes left. Derry had gone three up deep into injury time when they eventually got it back.

Anyone able to post up the last few mins of the Donegal Tyrone commentary from Radio 1? Marty and crew went absolutely apeshite. Just watched the TV version there and Canning made it sound as boring as hell. Like 2 different games. @myboyblue, you’re usually good at this sort of thing.
