I suppose you never heard of the phrase innocent until proven guilty. It’s what our entire criminal justice system is built on.

Innocent til proven guilty is the cornerstone of the western criminal justice system. So they are innocent as not guilty verdicts have been returned.
For there to be a rape a jury needs to arrive at that verdict. The unanimous verdict of the jury was not guilty of rape. Therefore no rape.
