Maybe they slept through the whole thing, but I’d be surprised if that was the case. You tend to wake up if there’s a commotion outside or downstairs, and it seems pretty clear there was.

I’ve swung a few times on what the likely outcome of the trial is.
I’m currently swinging back towards a conviction for all four, but I’m only about 55-45 on that.

The charge brought against him is exposure, as far as that goes, it’s only the victim’s word against his, none of his pals put him in the room that night, there are no witnesses like there were with Olding and Jackson who saw them engaging with the victim.
Is it possible to bring additional charges against him based on the fact that it’s quite clearly his story and version of events does not stand up under any credible light?
It’s hard to see Olding get done I’d imagine. His alcohol induced state will probably help the inconsistencies in his story but I think it’s obvious he’s covering for Jackson.
I don’t think it’s looking good for Jackson at all, it looks like people are telling lies to beat the band in order to cover for him, I think that much is obvious. He is denying having sex with the women when a witness and his friend paint a different picture.
Harrison is a slam dunk conviction I’d imagine and he’ll be filleted if he takes the stand.
Paddy Jackson comes across as a heinous and reprehnsible individual.
The description of Olding as a monkeyish imbecile fits.
McIlroy is a crass fantasist.
And Harrison is a slimy, amoral creep.
I believe her.

You’re the guy who has spent the last 3 weeks strongly questioning whether Jackson denied having sex with her when it was clearly established that was his position.
I don’t think she was raped and I do not believe she ever thought that either really deep down

This girls story is ands all over the place. Just because she was well coached to absorb does not mean it made sense.
None of this makes sense really. It’s got more and more distorted.
And I think that’s the brilliance of the defenses case. You can’t convict on this shit.
