Russia Vs Ukraine (Part 2) - Neocons Strike Back

Fair enough. But you were asked why you thought putin was a madman, and your response was ā€œmaybe heā€™s not a madmanā€.
You sound like a dim schoolgirl who hasnā€™t done her homework.

I donā€™t have access to any psychological reports on Putin, so I canā€™t say with any certainty that heā€™s a madman or anything like that :man_shrugging:

It appears from what info I could garner than Putin whipped up tensions in Eastern Ukraine purposefully when his preferred President was ousted.

Tensions that are not documented afaik before 2014.

Many argue that NATO expansion throughout Eastern Europe has had a poking the bear effect but can it seriously be stated that NATO had any intention of moving on Russia?

His invasion of Ukraine has only strengthened the resolve of those who supported NATO expansion.

While I canā€™t say which or whether on American involvement in Ukraine and across Eastern Europe, it has been argued that Putin has had in hands in plenty of countries business over the decades of his Presidency too.

America & Russia have always seen themselves as entitled to spread their sphere of power across the globe and this is what has happened Ukraine.

Unfortunately, only Russian pressure on Putin can stop the eventā€™s currently occurring imo.

It wonā€™t be America, NATO or China.

Who wrote that?

Right. Weā€™re on to psychological reports now are weā€¦

Maybe he is, maybe he isnā€™t :man_shrugging:

But he invaded a sovereign nation (well he didnā€™t personally invade it, I need to point that out) and has sent something like 100ā€™000 (again this is an estimate on something I think I heard) of his troops to their deaths, so I think heā€™s probably a bit of a nut job

There. That wasnā€™t so hard now, was it?

Mr Nice, you silly boy.

Both sides are nutjobs pal. Keeping this going will most likely lead to a world war 3 scenario if the team America crowd get their way.

As things stand thousands of misfortunate Ukrainans and Russians are seen as cannon fodder and are dying at massive numbers not seen since WW2 in a blatant proxy war. No one cares about them on either side. Putin has a bigger crowd to pick from though.

The reality is the longer it goes on. The more successful Putin will be. Nato arent able to match them for arms and people. Ukraine are not going to be able to fire several thousand rockets a day for another number of years. Russia will. There wonā€™t be a winner in absolute terms but Russia have a lot more to gain by digging in particularly as western ā€œalliesā€ eventually grow weary of the conflict.

Peace has to happen. Otherwise the world is just procastinating on the inevitable which is peace anyway.

The lads who are just asking questions abhor comparisons between Hitler and Putin. Much more ā€˜nuancedā€™ than that, donā€™t ya know.

Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerer of deathā€™s construction

In the fields, the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds
Oh lord, yeah!

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to the poor, yeah

Time will tell on their power minds
Making war just for fun
Treating people just like pawns in chess
Wait till their judgement day comes, yeah!

Now in darkness, world stops turning
Ashes where their bodies burning
No more war pigs have the power
Hand of God has struck the hour

Day of judgement, God is calling
On their knees, the war pigs crawling
Begging mercy for their sins
Satan laughing, spreads his wings
Oh lord, yeah!

Fuck war ā€¦man

I genuinely wonder about those woke lads. Does the pretending to care about all of humanity on the internet eventually dawn on them?

Likes of clearing out the junk room for refugees etc for likes on the internet but actually never for a second genuinely contemplating to ever actually help people.

Sociopathic behaviour you could argue maybe.

Are you trying to outstupid tracksuit?

The reason World War II is mentioned so much in relation to Russiaā€™s invasion of Ukraine is because itā€™s directly analogous.

World War II didnā€™t get mentioned as being analogous to other wars than this one because it isnā€™t analogous to those other ones. But it is to this.

Itā€™s knowledge of history, not lack of knowledge, which enables one to make the analogy between World War II and the Russian war in Ukraine. It could scarcely be more analogous. Itā€™s basically exact. The same sort of invasion of a European democracy by a small man tyrant hell bent on revenge and on making his country ā€œgreat againā€, the same appeasement of him in the run up, the same excuses, the same genocidal, fascistic Nazi like reasoning for invasion.

What a load of scutter.

Russia is not entitled to a sphere of influence. Ukraine wants to be allied with the US and Europe it democratically chose that path. Itā€™s that simple.

Itā€™s about the right of smaller countries to decide their own destiny. Russia doesnā€™t believe in the right of small countries to decide their own destiny. It never has. It only believes in the jackboot. Thatā€™s all it has ever believed in.

The US has a very murky record at best outside of Europe but inside Europe the US has always been a guarantor of the rights of free democratic countries, and it is again here.

It is, but whats the alternative, pal?

Are you going to fight against Russia to save us all?

Maybe throw up a Ukrainian flag in your avator. Thats about you lot can offer Iā€™m afraid.

For a lad that stands on the street shouting nazis at passing cars youā€™re bizarrely oblivious to the cia, nuland, mccain etc cosying up to actual nazisā€¦

Tricky enough one to stand over, pal.

None of that in any way challenges anything I said.

The Maidan happened because the Putin puppet of a president refused the democratic wishes of parliament and the people. Then he slaughtered the protestors.

The US, at least when it has a sensible Democratic administration like the Biden one, as opposed to a headbanging Russian stooge like Trump, has a position of trust in free, democratic European countries and among European peoples who wish to be free, because it has earned that trust over history.

Russia has earned the hatred for it in Europe because it only ever believed and still only believes in the jackboot.
