If they voted for Independence it would be some craic, what would the Unionists do?
Wonât happen. Size of yes vote will mean that devolution max will happen though.
Will they drop âScotsâ from their wonderful Ulster Scots language ?
Seethe
Most recent polls showing a swing towards no. The Scottish are bottling it. Once again shows the fundamentally conservative (selfish, cowardly) nature of most people IMO.

FFS Glas
If they vote for independence then the Union Jack will be less popular in fashion circles as it will be less aesthetically pleasing without Scotlandâs blue.
Spoke to a Scot recently who said that he reckoned yes was a real possibility now having previously thought no chance
Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Orkney and Shetland are all strong No vote areas so any Yes vote could be interesting in terms of how they would react.

Could prove popular with Mayo fans. Would also serve as the âawayâ flag for the Basques, much as the Ivory Coast flag does for Ireland.
Glas shows yet again he hasnât a clue about world affairs.
Go back to looking at your thermometer to see if it has risen.

Oh alright then, thermometer?
It appears my earlier faux pas came from a complete misreading of a tweet. My apologies to the board. Especially Young Ned.

never explain yourself to these weirdos mate
The economic scaremongering has probably been the biggest factor in bolstering the No vote. The whole campaign has provided a wonderful insight into the extent to which forelock tugging imperialism still survives on these islands.
The entire premise of the No argument is that the idea of Scotland surviving on its own without the benevolence of the English is simply absurd. Itâs the exact same argument historically employed to ridicule the notion of independence in North America, India, and Ireland to name but a few troughs around the world where the English have buried their snouts.
Amazing to see that the same servile mentality still prevails however. Despite everything thatâs happened in the last hundred years. Some people just canât resist tugging that forelock.
