September 11 memories

Flashman was definitely involved in two of them if memory serves.

I remember when Brian Dobson interviewed Bosco about it and he just kept saying “Oh Ta se ana ufasach ar fad”

The terrorists stole America’s freedom, therefore the terrorists won.

And they lost their French fries…
Osama will be delighted to hear that he won.

Robert Fisk wrote on the day of the attack that the one question you would not be allowed to ask is ‘why’, and so it remains.

Martyrdom is something way beyond winning. It’s mega jackpot winning. He’ll be remembered forever.

Fisk is a knee jerk Anti American who predictably takes an anti American position even in the most extraordinary situations. Anyone in any doubt about this louser’s character should read William Dalrymple’s account of meeting him in his classic travelogue “From The Holy Mountain”.
It’s pretty funny that after ten years of rampant islamophobia and relentless scaremongering about islamic states, the US and the Brits are putting a gang into power in Libya who have Sharia law as the source of legal and social frameworks to be set out by the new ‘government’, and are hailing them as freedom fighters. If that doesn’t make the people who bought into their horseshit for the last decade feel really fucking stupid, I don’t know what will.

You sound like a knee-jerk anti-Fisk person who predictably launched an attack against him the second he was mentioned.

No I read his book Pity the Nation and was quite moved by it. But he has become as predictable as the sunrise since.
And Alan Dershowitz made a fool of himself by hanging up on The Last Word with Dunphy when challenged by Fisk on his demands that the world give America the right to invade any country they wanted. They don’t like it up 'em, these big nosed Yanks.

Yeah I heard that. Dershowitz called him out and Fisk went hiding under Eamon Dunphy’s skirt.
No. Dershowitz exposed himself as the terror cheerleader he is, a brainwashed, war mongering nutter.

If there’s an Al Queda dude hanging out in Ireland are the yanks allowed to send a drone over to kill him like they do in Pakistan?

Dershowitz is a raving lunatic. Everyone is Hitler. Everyone is anti-semetic. The Israelis murder an unarmed family? If you have a problem with it you’re a Nazi.

They can kill you if they want. And the likes of Fagan will cheer them on.

Mary Kelly for President.
Fisk pissed himself when he was exposed for what he is and was clinging to Dunphy for dear life.
