I can be of some assistance here.
You know and like Shieldsy, ergo the chances are MBB would not like Shieldsy if he knew him.
Back to the match itself I thought Murphy looked like a pathetic joke figure in his limited involvement. No skill level whatsoever.
[/quote] Ah Rocko, I thought you’d at least get that I honestly have no issue with this fella! As for Shields, thats another matter, but not one for here. It should be ok to dislike someone, especially on the internet, its what it was created for, that and porn. I’m over 30 by the way caoimhaoin, do the math. As for Murphy, I didnt watch much of this farce on Saturday Rocko, was he that bad? He always struck me as a serious operator but perhaps it could just be a case of another footballer not being suited to this bastardised game.
I take back what I said earlier in the thread, the shinty is a vastly more enjoyable fare than the slurry that will follow it. Ireland have a huge advantage in it though and like the football the rules are tilted greatly in their favour but at least theres some degree of skill on show. Shane Dooley is a joy to watch, a beautifully wristy hurler, but shur he didnt lick it off the road either.
Nice to see it close anyway. I was at this before and it was an awful timbering the Scots got. I believe the man they have over them now is highly respected and has their best over playing. The Antrim lad McManus is going well but this is the Shane Dooley show, what a hurler.
Some quick research has shown that Scotland have been winning this for the last few years but am I right in saying Ireland started putting in weaker sides for a while now? Wheres Dermody fron lads?
