My first job, I worked with a Greek fella named Teddy. Teddy told me that in Greek, “nostalgia” literally means “the pain from an old wound”. It’s a twinge in your heart far more powerful than memory alone.

All the more intreging then. The layers to that show. The fact that Don would use that material in order to get the sale. Duck saying “best of luck at your next meeting”, Harry exiting the room at the end of the show, Christ the fact he said ‘sweetheart’ to the secretary to dim the lights… Brilliant.
